Late spring through early fall is the widest window
Once overnight temperatures stay reliably above freezing and the slab has had time to dry out from spring moisture, conditions are generally good through the warm months into early autumn.
The practical limit at the end of the season is not the daytime high — it is the overnight low and the dew point, because surfaces can take on moisture after sundown.
Why moisture in the slab matters
Concrete holds water. After heavy rain or snowmelt, a slab can look dry on the surface while still being saturated below. Applying protection onto a wet substrate can trap moisture and compromise the result.

New concrete needs to cure first
Freshly poured concrete needs a curing period before any protection is applied. Applying too early interferes with the curing chemistry. If you have a new pour, tell us the pour date when you book and we will advise on timing.
Scheduling before winter
Many property owners want protection in place before salt season. That is a reasonable goal, but the work still has to happen under suitable conditions. Booking early in the season gives more flexibility than waiting for the last dry week of autumn.
