Interior Surfaces
Countertop, Tile & Interior Surface Protection
Interior stone is often the most expensive surface in a house and the one most exposed to daily chemistry: wine, citrus, coffee, oil and cleaning products.
Natural stone varies enormously in absorbency. A dense granite and a soft marble behave nothing alike, and marble has the added complication of being sensitive to acids — something no sealer fully prevents.
Protection here is about reducing absorption and making spills easier to catch before they become stains, with realistic expectations about what the material can and cannot do.

Residential & Commercial
Professional Surface Protection
Suitable Surfaces
- Natural stone countertops
- Vanities and sinks
- Tile and grout where suitable
- Stone backsplashes
- Selected interior floors
- Shower walls and stone surrounds
What Protection Can Do
Reduced absorption
Helps slow how quickly liquids soak into porous stone and grout.
Easier spill response
Gives you more time to wipe a spill before it becomes a stain.
Cleaner grout lines
Grout is often more porous than the tile around it and benefits most from protection.
Appearance preserved
Designed to protect without changing the look of the stone, where the product is matched correctly.
Our Process
How the Work Is Done
- 1
Assessment
Material identification, absorbency testing and review of existing sealers.
- 2
Cleaning
Residue and previous product removal using methods appropriate to the stone.
- 3
Application
The matched system is applied and excess removed within the product's working time.
- 4
Aftercare
Guidance on daily cleaners to use and to avoid — the wrong cleaner shortens any sealer's life.
Important Considerations
What a protection system realistically does — and what it does not.
- Sealing does not make stone stain-proof or etch-proof. Acidic spills can still etch marble and other calcareous stones.
- Heat damage, chips and scratches are physical damage and are outside what a sealer addresses.
- Different stones need different products; there is no single countertop sealer that suits everything.
- Common household cleaners can degrade sealers faster than the surface itself wears.
In This Region
Interior work runs year-round, which makes it a practical choice during Upstate winters when exterior application conditions are out.
Residential
Homes, driveways, patios, decks and interior surfaces.
Commercial
Selected commercial surfaces and entrances where suitable.
